Notice Statement on the Airstrikes mounted by the Military
The terrorist military junta continues to lose footholds on ground under its influence. When the land routes are difficult to enter the territories under the control of National Unity Government (NUG) and the allied revolutionary organizations, aerial forces, airstrikes, and heavy weapons attacks have been used continuously.
According to the findings from the Ministry of Defence, National Unity Government, it is found that the military forces are intentionally committing the operations of aerial attacks and the heavy weapons attacks to destroy the civilians rather than the military purpose.
According to the data collected during October 1, 2021, to September 30 2022, the military forces committed 268 times of aerial attacks, 190 times of attacks on civilian targets and 78 times of attack on military targets. As to the aerial attacks on the civilian targets, the death toll of civilians including women and children is 155, and 187 people were also injured. Including religious buildings, a total of 138 houses were destroyed and 8,100 people abandoned their houses.
Public need to take the following precautions during the aerial attacks.
1. Keep your mind calm.
2. Move to the nearest protection.
3. Do not run carelessly. Do not shout out.
4. Do not lean against the walls.
5. Follow the instructions.
